Reflect + Create
We’ll begin with an internal reflection and meditation led by Touk Keo to better understand ourselves, our trauma responses and how to grow our understanding towards what unites us, so we can build coherent strategies of care and liberation.
Next, we’ll carry our new understanding through a creative workshop with Sophia Xiao-fan Austrins. Through mask making, we will collectively consider the ways we are seen and choose to be seen, while revisiting what we know of ourselves, and creating towards the ways that we want to be and show up.
"Love takes off masks that we fear we cannot live without. And know, we cannot live within." James A. Baldwin
